The Story Behind Lustra Bella

I have always been captivated by pearls – nature’s remarkable gift that embodies simplicity, elegance, and sophistication. Growing up in Taiwan, one of my dearest childhood friends owned a beautiful freshwater pearl farm. I vividly remember the first time I visited her farm: the glimmering waters reflecting the pearls’ soft luster and the meticulous care poured into cultivating these extraordinary treasures.

Life, however, had many surprises in store for me. When my child was accepted into a university in Hungary, my family and I decided to move to this beautiful country and start a new chapter. The idea of launching an online store came to life during the transition. With the help of my childhood friend, I could bring pearls directly from her farm to customers in Hungary and beyond. This unique connection allows us to ensure our pearls' exceptional quality and authenticity and offer them at fair prices, bypassing wholesalers and avoiding hefty markups.

Every pearl in our collection carries a story of dedication, tradition, and craftsmanship—values my friend and I hold close to our hearts. This personal bond with the pearl farm enables me to share something truly special with our customers: jewellery that reflects care and passion straight from its source.

Why the name Lustra Bella?
When choosing the name Lustra Bella, we wanted something that encapsulated elegance, brilliance, and beauty. “Lustra” represents the radiant sheen of pearls, one of their most defining and admired qualities. “Bella” is derived from Italian, meaning “beautiful” or “lovely.” Together, the name embodies what we strive to offer through our brand – radiant, elegant, and timeless beauty in every piece of jewellery.
